ARNOLD introduced the PIAS® self-piercing nut system - already established in Japan - onto the European market through its subsidiary company of Arnold & Shinjo established in 1994. Today ARNOLD & SHINJO is one of the leading suppliers of fastening systems in the industrial sheet metal components sector. In close cooperation with ARNOLD and other key suppliers, the components for the PIAS® system technology are produced in Germany.

ARNOLD & SHINJO works with its customers through the entire process - starting at the planning stage, covering the engineering design phase, right through to implementing the tooling for the sheet metal component production process. As the expert partner for fastening systems, the company supplies engineering services, processing technology and service support. The clinching and punching process into sheet metal is carried out in combination with an integrated technological approach. Solutions are provided in the fields of punching and clinching, in automated assembly, or at manual workstations.
